12V switch help need ASAP!

Hey, guys. I bought an LED rocker switch to put in with a stereo on our boat, and for the life of me, I can't figure this thing out. Can someone tell me how? It's got three prongs on the back. This is what it looks like:

Supply = Your Hot (positive)

Load = goes to stereo

Earth = ground or Negative

I assume no responsibility for incorrect wiring though. =)

Okay, I think I got it to do what I want. Does this sound correct?:

The "supply" lead off the switch is connected to the (+) terminal of the battery

The "earth" lead off the switch is connected to the (-) terminal of the battery

The "load" lead off the switch is connected to the positive wire on the stereo

The ground wire on the stereo is connected to the (-) terminal of the battery

This seems to work. Any problems?
