Lowrance X-15 Memory Card Size

I have an X-15 which accepts either SD or MMC memory cards and I cannot find the maximum size it will accept. I know they have a limit but either I'm blind or I cannot find the spec in the manual. I've seen it mentioned somewhere before.

Any help?

Accepts two cards @ 128mb each (MMC or SD)

make sure you do the update for that model if it has not been done..it makes a huge differance in its performance..much faster.. very easy.. www.lowrance.com

Yeah, I bought mine at the tail end so it has the latest firmware.

I have found out that people are running 512MB cards in their X-15's without issue which surprised me. They are so cheap now that I'll probably pick one up and give it a shot.

This isn't about card size but does relate. I have an older X-15mt that I bought last year with my boat. I had a hard time upgrading it to the current version, so I could use Lakemaster. After calling Lowrance, I found out that my model wouldn't take an SD card, only a MMC card. After hard searching I found an MMC card at Radio Shack. It really does make a big difference keeping up with the updates. Good fishing this weekend.
