Alright, the wife turns 40 on Thursday. I still have yet to pick anything up for here. Not sure what to get. She has MS so she doesn't get out much as far as sporting stuff goes. We are going to the casino for the night but so far thats it. Need some ideas Thanks to everyone....

My uncle has MS but loves the outdoors. He likes surfing the web and using his binoculars to bird watch and nature watch. If she has similar interests I'd suggest binoculars, birdhouses, bird feeders (especially hummingbird feeders if you live out of town) or a camera.

If you hit on a slot slip a piece of jewlery into the pay slot when she is not looking then offer her your lucky machine. Let her collect the winnings.

Most like jewelery and a surprise is a bonus!

Maybe a day at a spa?

Or how 'bout something you can do together. A weekend away at a bed and breakfast, or tickets to a concert or play. I'm just spitballing here.

Maybe make a nice dinner at home and have a quiet evening. Instead of going out and paying a huge bill spend it at the grocery store and make something in. Lobster tails are not cheap but they are better at home than out. Sam's club has them for under $20 /# King crab for less than $12/# and scallops for $7/#. Lots of shrimp too. Seems like a lot to do but it is very easy to bake in the oven or boil the water.

Last year I got my wife a day at the spa for her and a friend then a night out to dinner. Her friends husband picked up the dinner. I sent our son to my parents and me and the other husband hit the lake. She gets a nice day/night out with a girlfriend, grandparents get to see their grandson and me and my buddy got to wash some hooks. EVERYONE's HAPPY!!!
