frying trout?

When do you plan on releasing these trout? Just being a smarta##. My favorite way of cooking stream trout is frying in a pan. Butter works well if you watch the temp so it doesn't burn. I also like to have the skin nice and crispy, so I've found that keeping the lid off the pan helps with this. Gets rid of the steam. I also like the use of lemon pepper or just squeeze some lemon on the fish.

Oh Yeah forgot one.

We currently use this up at the lodge.

Wild Rice Flour

1 cup of Oven Toasted Wild Rice blended to powder in spice grinder (coffee grinder)

2 cups flour

Salt n’ Pepper

When combined run through sifter to ensure no large chunks.
