Solid Home Start

Solid start and bats at home after shakey start of the season. Fun to watch and listen to. Last 3 games have given me a good feeling about this team. Could be a good season.

Hopefully they can keep it going this weekend against the money team. Looked it up today and Yankees 2006 salary 198+ million to the Twinks 61+ Million. Man I hope they take the series just to rub it into their faces.

Starting pitching has been a little subject, but not to worry though, I think they will only get stronger once they get a few more innings in them. The offense has definately improved so far, as long as it keeps up. White will start to hit like he can and Batista has been a blessing at third base. Justin has been hitting like we expected him to last year and the future looks good.

Now that you bring it up, I'm thinking of other teams I root for, and I can't think of any in the NL, maybe the Braves but that was just because I felt they deserved to win with the best team for quite awhile. All my "other" favorite teams seem to be in the AL - A's going back to the 70's, Twins from the 60's along with NYY. Ok, so I jump on bandwagons when my Cubbies don't have a shot - which, of course, is most of the time, but I will NOT root for the ChiSox until they change announcers.
