MapCreate and Navionics Questions

So I just loaded my new MapCreate software, and have been a little frustrated. Hopefully someone here can help....

First, I can't open my Navionics Premium map on MapCreate - though I have been told this is possible. Can't find much on Lowrance's HSOforum - and my first attempt at fixing this resulted in a re-install of MapCreate, as it didn't work anymore.

Second, in looking at topo info on MapCreate, all I can get is 50-foot contour intervals. Is this the best resolution I can get? I figured it would be based on at least 10-foot intervals - here in MN, a 50-foot interval is useless.

What am I doing wrong?

i can help with the first question,no you can not overlay navionics contours on mapcreate, you can only overlay LEI'S maps on there.

navioncs is coming out with their own version of mapcreate any day now (spring 2006 they say), it's called navplanner. i was dissapponited to not be able to overlay navionics too

I just got an email back from Navionics saying their program is out on the 17th. Retails for $129.

Hmmmmm....thinking about returning my Ifinder Plus and getting the Navionics program instead now. MapCreate doesn't seem to do much for me.
