Purple Martin House

I'm looking to buy a purle martin house this year. Does anyone have any ideas on where a person could find a decent selection to choose from? I have seen 1 or 2 at Fleet Farm and I am not a fan of the models they carry. Any other stores in the Twin Cities or Brainerd lakes area that carry a selection of houses?

Any info would be appreciated!

Mutty, I don't know the names of the businesses specifically in the TC, but in cities that size there tend to be stores that cater specifically to birders, and they'll have a selection. Such stores tend to be pretty pricy, however.

Another option is to simply type in "purple martin houses" in a Google search. Usually, the first few links that pop up are retailers selling the product you're searching for.

I'm sure that wild birds unlimited would have a good selection. They have a few stores in MN. I would get it put up soon. I think Martins come back mid April.

Mr. Birdhouse is in Grand Rapids, MN. and makes some of the best Purple Martin houses.
