Question
Walleye Guy
I recently found a great piece of driftwood in a northen Minnesota lake. I want to give it to my taxidermist to mount a couple Red Lake slabs on it. Does anyone have any recommendations as to what I should do with it before I give it to the taxidermist? I have heard that soaking it in a bleach water solution will kill any bugs and whiten it up some. Is this a good idea? If so what mixture should I use?
Any other recommendations?
Thanks,
WG
