game farm recomendations

I would like to find a game farm in the Isanti, Cambridge area to buy a gift certificate for a birthday present for my son. He has a young german Short Hair that he would be taking along. I'm wondering if anyone has any recomendations or experiences they could share. Thanks, Zent

I went to Rocky Bay Kennel east of Pine City a couple weeks ago. I liked it. It's really a plain jane joint as far as a clubhouse goes. But, I think their cover is very good, much like you would find in the real world. The owners are very down to earth people, and are very experienced pointing dog trainers. Plus, it was very reasonably priced.

Rocky Bay Kennel and hunt club is where I brought my dog for the first time out. Al and Val are very accommodating.

Another place you can try is Pheasants ridge in Ogilvie. They have a pretty good set-up there too.

I'd highly recommend Rocky Bay. I spent the day with Al and Val at the U.S. Pheasant open, they definitely make you feel at ease and they are very concerned with you having a good experience.

They are well respected among the game farm people I met at the Pheasant tournament.

Rocky Bay gets my vote as well, I had a corprate membership there last year.

Went up there ever other weekend and only once did I have a bad expereiance.

It wasn't thier vault either, another group of hunters durring thier member appreciation hunt came over into our field and shot at least 10 of our birds.

But life goes on.
