0 SuddenlySummer
I have two of the bigger Optima's for my 24v motor and haven't even come close to draining them even after two days of use without a re-charge.

0 Ultra2349
I have (2) INTERSTATES, (1) OPTIMA and (1) TROJAN.....Always have used Interstates for auto and marine...Got a Optima for kids stereo system and my first Trojan last year. All three perform very well and the dry cell concept and size of the Optima is nice. The Trojan is a brute battery and the Interstates for the $$$$ I think are as good as either.. my .
0 BOX CAR
What are cost factors or weight factorsBT ------------------
0 Ultra2349
Depending on the size of any of the mentioned you could pay from $80 -$175 and have weights from 60-80 pounds. The Optimas are rather slimline but the spendy one as well. Matter of choice and need I guess.
0 Phred52
I have 2, 6 year old Trojans in my boat/fish-house (double-duty), and JUST (last week) replaced 6-6v Trojans in my golf cart. The golf cart batteries were 12,almost 13 years old (Aug '92) before they needed to be replaced. And the ones in the boat aren't showing signs of [PoorWordUsage]in' out yet. I'll go with Trojans until they invent something better. At $65 ea., I haven't found anything better on todays market,IMO. Phred52
0 Walleye Guy
I third the Trojan. Heavy bugger but it is the best battery I have ever owned. Everyone I know who has had one has been very pleased.WG

0 Phred52
Thunderchicken, I got mine at Batteries plus. Best way would be to do a search and find the Trojan HSOforum. They have a dealer locator for your area. Phred52 Drop me an e-mail at:fredndeb(at)newulmtel(dot)net You do have a dealer in your neighborhood.[This message has been edited by Phred52 (edited 07-17-2004).]
