Conceal and Carry classes

Does anyone know of a good place to take the conceal and carry classes? I am in the northern suburbs. Also, does anyone know how they conduct the range part. Distances? Rounds? Is it timed? Different stances or holding positions? Any help is appreciated.

There is a guy who does CCW classes in the Northern subs, don't have a number right now but can get it for you in a day or two.

Also there is a web site for the minnesota ccw reform , if you do a ggogle search you might find it?

When I took my class we had about 5 or 6 hours of class room that covered everything from how to carry to what to expect if you do draw or even shoot on some one.

Then a few hours at the range where we shot 50 round total from different ranges and different positions.

There also was a shoot and reload shoot again senereo in there.

It is well worth the cost if you have a good instructor.

check the gander mtn HSOforum under classes and events, I took mine through Gary Shade of Shades Landing. We just went out and shot about 15-20 rounds as he wanted. Pretty easy and fun too. They do classes at sherburne county's new range too, check co.sherburne.mn.us

Metro Gun Club in Blaine also has CCW classes.

Look in the Anoka Shopper. There is a guy who has classes in Nowthen at the former Sparky's. These are on Sat. Might take one myself.
