Random Truck Question

sjuduckhunter

Question

This sort of falls under equipment! I have an 03 chev pickup and I put dual exhaust in it using a glass pack. It is just a little bit too loud for my liking especially when it backs off in overdrive at 60 mph. I was wondering if there is an insert of some sort that I could put in the tips to tone the sound down just a little bit. Does a product like that exist or am I off my rocker? ANY help will do.

Thanks.

MJ

I had duals on my '02 and had a pair of turbo mufflers just the small little kind they sounded really nice. Not to loud when cruising down the road but when you stood on it people knew you were coming. I am not sure of a insert but I think a pair of mufflers would be the bext fix. You could also experiment with different tip on your pipes as that can make a big difference.

...Or, you could put an actual muffler on your truck so the rest of the world doesn't have to listen to it...just an idea.

Oh come on now that isn't any fun if people can't hear you coming. grin.gif
