H2O C vs. Expedition C

Ya Hey Der

Question

Here are the main differences between the two units:

Expedition C has: Electronic compass, barometric altimeter, music playback, microphone, Scout Mode. H2OC does not. It looks like the Expedition is $30 more. Isn't it worth it? What surprised me was that the H2OC doesn't have an electronic compass. Any thoughts???

Thanks!

I think if your a hunter the compass would be a bigger deal than if you just use it on lakes. I have the H2Oc and love it. The color to me was worth every cent. If you hunt I would look into the Hunt unit but the Expeditin is fine as well. The compass is good when not moving.

As a hunter I went with the Hunt C then they came out with the Expedition after that and it is quite a bit cheaper. The only advantage I really have is that I have different waypoint symbols for hunting. I also have a 1000 more waypoints than the H20 and Expedition.

I have a couple of more questions.

1)If the Expedition C is $30 more and has more features including electronic compass, how come everyone is raving about the H2O C and there is little to no discussion around the Expedition C? One would think there would be equal or even more discussion around the Expedition C. Any thoughts?

2)how come my post about the fishingmn deal on the H20C is now gone? Was it moved or deleted?

3)why is the post about Reeds Sports having a sale of H2OCs at the sportsmans show gone?

Just wondering.

Thanks,

YHD

Just got an H2O for $139 and the Lakemaster chip $79 from Reeds, they said they were giving show prices until their show season was done and that sounded preatty soon, call and talk to Jeff he should know how long the prices are good for
