Rattlin Rap vs. Rattle traps

I guess I am a rap guy for everything because I favor Rattlin Raps but I have a fishing buddy that is a devout Rattle trap guy. Ok now is the time to voice your opinion! and why!

For me the Rap runs more true all the time. I also don't have the problem of the paint coming off all the time like on the RAttle traps. For the record I do use both but depending on the colors they are hitting but I keep augmenting new colors in the rapala version.

Horse a piece. I may have a few more Traps and Cordell Spots in my boxes, but I'm straddling the fence on this lipless crank argument.

I guess I got turned off by the Rapala Rattling raps. I wasn't impressed by their design, didn't have confidence and didn't catch much.

I do absolutely love the Lucky Craft LVR D-7 and D-10 with a few LVR minis thrown in. I love the iridescent colors and multi fascets the reflect like real baitfish. I caught a nice chuncky 3lb small mouth on my American Shad pattern one.

I also caught a nice 5 lb pike on it out the Mississippi.

I just got done buying a bunch of them on hsolist (ssssh on my secret) for cheaper than what I could get em at Cabelas.

I've used both, and all I have in my boat now are Rattle Traps. This does'nt mean one is better than the other, just my personal preference.
