Lakeside Campsite

I have recently purhcased a pop-up camper and am looking for campgrounds that would have sites near and/or on the lake shore. The only thing I would need is electric hook-up. I am looking for anywhere within two hours north of St. Cloud area. Thanks in advance for info!

The city of Sauk Centre has a nice campgroud. We have a seasonal there and enjoy it. It is call the Sinclair Lewis campground.

You're gonna have a hard time finding electric and a place to party. Most state and private parks like you to keep it down after dark. There used to be a KOA campground on Fish Trap an hour north of St. Cloud. It's gone through a couple owners, but it has some sites that are away from the seasonal people. If you're not looking for conveniences, there's state forest campgrounds in the Pillsbury near Pillager and Two Inlets north of Park Rapids. They're remote and there's plenty of room between most sites and they tend attract people who like to stay up and talk under the stars.
