When do the new year models come out?

My dad is going to be getting a wheeler this year and wants to buy used. I'm urging him to go for a good deal on a carryover. When do the new models come out so I can tell him when a good time to start looking is? Anybody see any good deals recently that I should check out? His only requirments are 400cc or larger, 4x4, and automatic transmission. The rest are all details!
