Everstart Marine Batteries

Has anyone had much expierience with Walmart's Everstart Marine batteries?They have the regular black ones and the higher Grade Yellow Maxx Marine I think?

I just bought one last year for my trolling motor. Have used it for over a year and no problems at all. I bought the better one (price difference was minimal).

I have one thats dead. Had it on the boat just over two years. I felt it held up pretty good. It was the cheaper one. 25 horse with 32# troller. I think I'm going to get the yellow one now unless I find or get talked into another one for about the same price. The price is deffinately worth it...

Just picked up two of the yellow ones to run my 24V system. So far this year I am very happy with them. I really like the price on them and the reserve capacity (I believe 205m). I religiously charge them up after every and periodically between trips (on board charger).

They are one of the best batteries out there.
I have them in the Ranger and the duck boat. The one in the duck boat I bought year before last at the end of duck season took it out sat it on the garage floor uncharged, put it back in last sept. charged it and it ran like a champ all season even in the freezing weather. On a shopping note the Trojan brand that Gander now carries is not a no name battery. They are an extremely reputable company that has been mostly out west for years, and they build one of the better batteries according to Bass and Walleye boat magazine. (Kind of like consumer reports for fish and boat stuff, if your not familiar). If I were buying brand new it would be a toss up. Both are great batteries.
