Twin 150 tv coverage?

Did anybody else out there think that the race coverage was terrible for the twin 150's? Did we really need to see Derick Cope and Mike Skinner duel it out to the finish? It wasn't even for a spot in the 500. It sure would have been nice to see the lead pack cross the finish line. As for the second race, Valvoline sure got alot of tv time. I don't know how many Scott Riggs fans there are out there but it sure would have been nice to watch somebody else. Hope they cover the 500 a little better.

They where covering the people that mattered during the race. Pretty much everybody that "counts" was already in the 500. I frankly liked to see who was racing hard for everything that mattered. Skinner and Riggs where running for a spot in the race.

I'd have to echo what mnf is saying. Still though, it's NBC/TNT. Had this discussion last year, and it doesn't appear that muh has changed. Still am bored with the guys in the booth, still like Bestwick and some others. Same thing, different year.

But at least its their LAST year! NBC is done with NASCAR after this year and I'm glad, they are really awful.

I do think showing the cars that were racing for transfer spots was the right way to cover those races yesterday though. The racing up front was pretty tame compared to what they were trying to do back there.

As for Riggs, I think its pretty major news when an Evernham team doesn't get in and Kirk Shelmerdine does!

Track position....his crew didn't help him out much at the end. Unfortunate.
