And the Raiders select Art Shell has there new head coach----------HUH. What the heck is going on there. Didn't Art already suck has there head coach before.

Actually he was pretty good as their head coach. Had a winning record. Aside from the short Gruden tenure, they've stunk ever since he got canned.

Al Davis is a lunatic and I wouldn't work for him once let alone twice, but I think Shell has something to prove and Davis has said many times it was a mistake firing him.

I just thought it was odd. Maybe Shell has learned a few things. Never know I guess, maybe he rights that ship. Could there be a coach Al Davis has his eye on for next year and needed someone to sit in for a year.
