I would like to take this time to thank all who posted giving me the direction on my quest for Lakers.

Special thanks to Fisherking01, Igotem, and Hemlock.

Just returned from Lake of the Woods with my two girls and a friend. I would have to say fishing was outstanding to say the least.

The four of us iced 14 Lakers between 7 - 10 lbs.

My friend landed a 25 lb fish but was out done by my youngest girl, 28 lbs. and the best part of it was, she caught it on a tip up 15 feet from the bottom.

Never tell a little girl that something won't work, she proved me wrong.

Most of them including the biggest one was iced just west of an island called timber, the others were near the south tip of a little island called cigar. My memories of fishing for Lakers with my grandpa and dad don't hold a candle to the memories and mile long smile of my girls and their fish.

I am hook once again,I know why they call it God's country, it is so peaceful there. Thanks again Fisherking01, Hemlock, and Igotem. Also I would like to say that the Canadian people are the most friendly people I have ever met. Can anyone tell my what the "EH" is for ,every once in a while when they are talking?

Glad to hear you had a great time and caught such nice fish. Those are some nice sized fish you caught. I can't wait until my kids get a little older so I can get outfished by them.
