0 Valv
I assume it's GPS speed you checked. It sound a little high, you should be able to get around 2 mph.Anyway, yes a drift sock will help a lot, the larger the better.------------------Val Vignatiwww.kvesurplus.com[email protected]
0 Xplorer
1eye6,What are your rpm's at? I have a 90 4 stoke and get down to only 2.8 on a 1100# boat. My 90 runs at about 600 rpms at the slowest throttle setting. I need to run a trolling bag or couple of 5 gallon buckets to go slower (down to 1.5 with 2 buckets out the sides) Xplorer PS: the pitch of your prop can also have a impact on troll speed. i have a stock aluminum 17p.[This message has been edited by Xplorer (edited 06-03-2004).]
