Several weeks ago there was alot of SOS discussion and it sounded like a lot of guys were trying it out. I am curious about your actual results. Anyone use it on Mille Lacs?

Thanks Metrojoe, but I've read that. What I am really interested in is what everyones experience has been this past month. There were a lot of guys ordering the SOS or building their own and I am interested in how it has worked for them.

The times I have used it I found that it holds schools in the area longer. If the fish aren't in the area it doesn't do you much good. It's a nice tool to help you pluck more fish out of each school. Sometimes the school sticks around for a long time with the SOS in place. I've had good results with crappies, sunfish and walleyes so far.

Borch, may I ask how you made yours? Also I am heading up to URL in a week or so and would like to try it. How do you set your outfit up? I suppose the longer you leave it out the better it would work.
