To buy just an Power Auger Shaft for a Strikemaster? I have a 10" and don't like it and want to go down to a 8". I checked their HSOforum but it doesn't really mention anything about just the shaft. Wondering if anyone else out there has just bought the shaft. thanks

I don’t see where they show the different size augers on there “HSOforum” either. But I do know they sell them I would just call Strikemaster. I know most major sporting goods stores also have them. I have seen them at Cabela’s, Gander & Fleet. I would just call Strikemaster and buy it direct. Good Luck

Yes you can. McGurk is right. I bought one from D-Rock earlier this year. They use it once for the Forest Lake Ice Fishing contest then give you $30 off of the original price.

You can get it thru strikemaster too. go to their HSOforum, click on online store, then power auger parts. scroll down to drill unit you need. Thorne bros in fridley will order them too, but it's higher than going thru strikemaster. If you want to sell your old one, list it on hsolist. I switched from a 10" to an 8" this year. Got $100 for my old one on hsolist. You can also check hsolist for 8" drills. Unfortunately for me, 2 days after I bought mine thru strikemaster, there were 2 8" drill assemblies listed on hsolist.

The last time I was at Fleet Farm they had a shelf with about a dozen of the lazer type augers for a little over 100$
