Questions regarding my LX3 marcum

Any LX3 experts around? I usually fish in water no deeper then 38 ft. While fishing laketrout last weekend in 60 plus feet of water, I could not see my swedish pimple anywhere. I seemed to try every adjustment possible. Im wondering if there is something wrong with it or if Im missing something. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Well if you had your depth setting rite if i remember rite it only goes up to 60 then goes to 120 so thats what you would have to have the depth set at(i dont fish deep water often) then i know it makes a little difference how i have my transducer hanging if the marcum is sitting sideways even thought its supposed to be self leveling, then by 2 on your gain you should be able to see a sweedish pimple...
