I have an older Mr. Heater and when I try to light it the flame starts it looks like its right I turn the thing to full it burns for about 30 seconds and just goes out. I've tried to hold the button down for a longer time but as soon as it begins to warm and I turn it to full it goes out. I can see the flame and it seems right, but it won't stay on. I think its from the thermo coupler being out of adjustment but I don't see how to properly adjust the thing. So does anyone have a suggestion? Has anyone had this problem before? I really don't like the idea of just tossing it away.
We went to the flats too. I dipped a tire on the rental car onto it just to say I’ve been there, but it was still pretty soft from winter melt. After seeing some moron in a BMW suv get dragged out of the muck I had no intention of repeating his stupidity.
