Adding trailer brakes to a Shorelander

I was thinking about getting trailer brakes.

Does anyone know if it is possible, how much work it is, and know where I would get that done?

I have an early 90s Shorelander that I should add brakes to if I am going to tow occasionally with a mid size SUV.

Looked into it myself this spring,found a trailer supply company that sells a complete kit for surge disc brakes. Should bolt right on a Shorelander for $379. Seemed fairly reasonable.
