0 crappie22 Posted January 15, 2006 Share Posted January 15, 2006 Its in the lower unit. There is three bolts/nuts holding it on. There is also a small acces panel on the side (held on by two screws) that needs to be removed and a bolt inside loosened. Then the unit will slide down and the impeller is inside the black plastic piece on the top of the lower unit. I believe there is two screws holding this on. Very easy project. (see it happen alot) if you do have to tear off the lower unit an replace the impeller i would also replace the housing. I think you can go to www.evinrude.com and get a break down of the lower unit that should help you out our you can buy a clymer manual that runs about 30 dollars Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
