Lakemaster maps for Magellan

I just heard that I can get a chip for my Magellan platinum that has Fishing Hot Spots maps as well as Lakemaster maps. The chip is called Mapsend. Does anyone know if that includes the Lakemaster promaps with the 1' - 3' contour lines?

I don't know about chips, but we have a topo program for our magellan meridian series called mapsend that you can download topo maps too. This does not have any lake maps though. I use it all the time for hunting and it works very good.

I just took the plunge and got the Lowanrce H2O, for all my fishing and it's amazing. The Lakemaster chip costs $100 and you can get a H20 monochrome from tiger GPS for like 140 bucks. I didn't want to get another GPS but now am very,very glad I did.

Yes, Magellan MapSend Lakes USA North is the software. It has FHS and Lakemaster source maps. You can view the maps in detail at the link below. Different lakes will have different levels of detail. Priced around 90 bucks.
