Lowrance X102C help needed

Fish Whisperer

Question

I just got a new sonar at Christmas an I need help with what is part number of the transducer that you guys are using when ice fishing? Also, did you have to get a seperate power cable? I was at Cabala's yesterday and bought the wrong one got home and had the wrong plug for the 102C. I saw that some of you are using that unit for ice fishing in another post and thought you might be able to get that info to me . I can't wait to try this thing. Thanks

The transducer is PTI-WBL ( 20 degree portable ) you can also get an icefishing pack that includes the transducer, power cable, battery with charger and charge indicator, mounting platform and softpack carrying case. This is part # PPP-16I. You can get these at Reed's (Baxter) or order from LEI on the Lowrance HSOforum. Reed's was cheaper by about $30 for the PPP-16I two weeks ago.

Thanks EJ, They told me when I called Lowrance today that I was to use the red and black wire to wire it to a 12V battery. It sure looks to me that these wires are way to small to go direct to a 12v.They are only 20 gage wire. This power cable is a new NMEA 2000 power cable and is really overkill at this time for ice and in the soft water period I'll use it in my Argo Conquest nowhere near wired for NMEA 2000 networking. I just don't want to do something to this unit that might ruin it. Thanks again for the info
