TV Question?

If it catchs my interest and or if its a new product I'm not familiar with I'll get on-line and do a search. I'll also look for products that might be similar and compare price, quality and which product I think will do the better job for me.

If I like it then I would probably buy it.

If it is a big ticket item I am unfamiliar with, then I will definately jump on the web and type it into a search engine to learn more about it.

If we are talking about a lure, rod combo, etc. that isn't a lot of money, I'll go out and buy it and give it my own report. Sometimes that is the best way to go about learning of these new things. It is just when you buy something a little more money than you'd like to have spent and it isn't what you thought it was.

Chalk it up to a learning experience. smile.gif

Ft- it was a pretty broad question. I'm sure we all, if we hear/see someone having success on a product will do some research on that product. T.V. is deffinatly an way of getting peoples attention. Radio, and now the internet is another. But if you hear of people having success with a product and then do not do some research on it, your really not trying to catch more fish.

I myself have seen quite a few things that I liked on T.V. but after some research have not liked it, some I have researched and have liked it and bought it.

With all of that said, just because something is on T.V. does not automatically make it golden!

I know the question is a little vague. We were approached by a company to do some TV advertising for the icesaw http://icesaws.com/. I thought asking about TV ads would help us make a decision about doing it or not. Didn't get many replies to the question which didn't have anything to do with our decision. It is very spendy and at this time we decided not to do the TV advertising. Maybe in the future we might advertise on TV.

Thanks for the replies.

    • I haven’t done any leaf springs for a long time and I can’t completely see the connections in your pics BUT I I’d be rounding up: PB Blaster, torch, 3 lb hammer, chisel, cut off tool, breaker bar, Jack stands or blocks.   This kind of stuff usually isn’t the easiest.   I would think you would be able to get at what you need by keeping the house up with Jack stands and getting the pressure off that suspension, then attack the hardware.  But again, I don’t feel like I can see everything going on there.
    • reviving an old thread due to running into the same issue with the same year of house. not expecting anything from yetti and I already have replacement parts ordered and on the way.   I am looking for some input or feedback on how to replace the leaf springs themselves.    If I jack the house up and remove the tire, is it possible to pivot the axel assembly low enough to get to the other end of the leaf spring and remove that one bolt?   Or do I have to remove the entire pivot arm to get to it? Then I also have to factor in brake wire as well then. What a mess   My house is currently an hour away from my home at a relatives, going to go back up and look it over again and try to figure out a game plan.           Above pic is with house lowered on ice, the other end of that leaf is what I need to get to.   above pic is side that middle bolt broke and bottom 2 leafs fell out here is other side that didnt break but you can see bottom half of leaf already did but atleast bolt is still in there here is hub assembly in my garage with house lowered and tires off when I put new tires on it a couple months ago. hopefully I can raise house high enough that it can drop down far enough and not snap brake cable there so I can get to that other end of the leaf spring.
