marcum vs-350

Looking for some information on the marcum vs-350. At $200 it looks like a good camera but just wondering what the major differences are with the $500 cameras.

I just got one for X-mas and used twice so far for a short period of time. Unfortunatley it was mid afternoon so the first hr of use was fine and then aroun 4:15-4:30ish I shut it off because I couldn't see with it any more. The amount of snow cover this year doesn't help fo rlight either. Otherwise good camera for price. Similar to the Agua View Scout, but this monitor is 7" compared to the scouts 5".

Did you adjust the infrared dimmer control to see how that worked?

Yes I did. It worked a little better , but not much. That first day I used it about 12 o"clock when the sun was out and worked great, but then it clouded up outside and around 4-30 it was getting hard to see.

i bought one a couple weeks ago was real happy with it untill monday then the camera filled up with water and the screen went black was able to return it and get another one besides that little problem i like the bigger screen and being able to adjust the brightness of the lights also liked the padded case which was one of a couple reasons why i choose it over a scout. if your not looking for all the bells and whistle's i think its a good camera for the money
