I am looking to upgrade/replace my tires and wheels on my old Spartan tilt-roller trailer. The current tire size says 5.3-12 and the rims are 4 hole 4" spacing. I have only been able to find 4.8-12 tires on this rim. Any ideas on what to do or where to find the proper size combination? I would like to upgrade to the whitespoke, but that is just an asthetic upgrade for this old rig. No new boat this year for me, have to make small adjustments as I can. I keep my boat indoors, but I am not sure just how old the tires are. They look fine, but I have heard that they should be replaced every so often for safety reasons. Any input on any of this is appreciated. I am in NW Iowa if anyone can give location within a couple hours, that would be fine, or I can order in.
Wasn't terrible at a state park beach. Antelope island maybe. I wouldn't recommend it as a beach destination tho. Figured I was there, I'm getting in it.
The water looked and smelled disgusting with hundreds of thousands of birds sh*tting in there. About as gross as the Salton Sea. When I duck hunted there I didn't even want to touch the water.
It's kinda gross with the algae in the summer but I got in it anyway. Wanted to see the increased bouyancy at work. You can kinda tuck yourself into a ball and you'll just float with your head above water. When dry off you look diamond encrusted with the salt.
We went to the flats too. I dipped a tire on the rental car onto it just to say I’ve been there, but it was still pretty soft from winter melt. After seeing some moron in a BMW suv get dragged out of the muck I had no intention of repeating his stupidity.
