Has anyone used structure on a string (SOS) ?

I recently found out about SOS and i was wondering if anyone has fished with them. Does it make it difficult to avoid the lines, similar to having multiple vexilar cords down. thanks.....I now have ordered a "weed bed" and a camera one as well...hope to try it on LOW soon.
