Tony Dungy's Son Dies

ESPN is reporting that Tony Dungy's eighteen-year old son was found dead in his Tampa apartment. The story is at sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=2268593 I remember when he was just a little kid hanging around the sidelines when Dungy was defensive coordinator for the Vikings.

I was just reading that on yahoo.com. Very sad to hear about his son especially with Christmas only a few days away. My prayers go out to his family while they deal with this tragety.

The Dungy's live in the same gated community that my brother in law lives in Lutz, Fla. and word is that it was a suicide. Terrible tragedy, especially around the holidays. Word is also that Dungy is going to retire from coaching permanently. Could not blame him if he does, but will be a huge loss for the NFL.
