Buddy Heater

aug495fish

Question

I was out today for the first time and had problems with my Buddy heater. I have had it for three years and have never had a problem with it before. When I started it, it worked fine for about 20 minutes and then it kept going out. After messing with it for awhile, I put a new cylinder of propane on. That worked well for about twenty minutes and then it did the same thing. I put another one on and the same thing happened. Anyone have any ideas about what is wrong?

Thanks in advance for your advice!

On a completely unrelated note, I had my LX-3 out for the first time today. First time fishing with a flasher and all I can say is wow!

I have only used my buddy heater twice. I light light it while holding it in my lap and have notice that when I set it down even a slight bump it will automatically shut off. I assume this is a safety feature and probably not the problem you are having.
