CrappieJohn Posted December 19, 2005 Share Posted December 19, 2005 Crappies will show signs of a fresh batch of spawn shortly after getting rid of a load. These fish will have the ovaries loaded pretty soon, but not to fear. Mother nature has things timed out and it takes a long time for the required elements to line up for those eggs to ripen.
