Big Buddy Recall

I know that there is a recall on some of the Big Buddy heaters. I went to the HSOforum a few weeks ago and filled out the form but haven't heard back from them yet. What are we suppose to do with them? Just return them to the store? What has everyone else done?

Is this a new recall or the same one they had last winter?

Same one from last year on the 2004 models.

I called them and looked on the HSOforum to identify my model all you had to do is pop of the red knob and look at the screws, there are 3 different ones. it took about two weeks for a letter in the mail to arrive with a form to fill out and list what type it was. Then I put it in the same box I boought it in with the form and sent it, five days later i got my new one.

I sent one in as per the instructions on their web page and they send me a new one with in a week or two and I couldn't be happier with it. I have used it alot over the last two weekends and it has worked flawlessly.

I just brought mine back to the store, I also told them I tried to return it last winter but since they had no replacements I'd just hang on to it till they got new ones. my new one seem to be working great.
