zent
I had the same prblem with my 2000 500, I put the recomended amount of sea foam in the gas tank and ran the engine for a while and the problem was solved. I know I got lucky but might be worth a try. 40$ seems very high for a needle and seat unless that includes the labor. I put a needle and seat in my lawn mower and the parts were less than 5$. Good luck.
Dave
Yeah, I hope that $40 included labor. I'd try the SeaFoam trick myself, first.

Neiko
Boxcar, no need to do all that just throw it in your gas and run the engine a little.
