Reflectorize a portable question

New to the portable scene and understand there is a "reflector" issue you need to address.

How do you apply reflectorization to a portable, where and how much is needed.

Was thinking of masking off the upper corners and spraying surveyors reflective paint on it ?

You can find reflective tape at just about any hardware store. Simple and easy

I assume the adhesive backed reflector tape will adhere to canvas well enough and stay there !!

Your Polar Sport already has reflectors on the house part when it's set up. You needs reflectors on the house for when it is folded up and is being towed by a wheeler or sled.

I have never found any reflective tape that will stick to canvas for any length of time. The canvas bends and the tape doesn't. Is there some type of paint out there that will work.

Reflective patches. A few stitches and you're done.

Are the white looking braid in the upper corner seems the reflection material, or does the logo on the door and sled show up in the dark ?

Go to a fabric store, they have iron on reflectorized patch type things that once you iron them on will stay on forever, very cheap also. I think I got the ones I used at Joanns Fabric

I took some red/white DOT reflector tape that you see on semi trailers and put some on all sides of my sled. It sticks good and has not peeled off as of yet. My Otter is older so it does not have any on the canvas like the new ones do, but I assume what can be seen on the sled qulaifies for the DNR. I put some on my name tag as well to cover that side when the house is set up.

I also saw a guy cover some tin with this kind of tape and then safety pinned it to his house.

If you are running a Polar House it is sewn in the seams. I is a white rope looking item.
