Manual Augers

I'm in the market for a manual (hand-powered) auger. Wht do you guys recommend? Seems you can spend anywhere from $30 to over $100. What makes the more expensive ones better? Is it worth it? Any recommendations on brands?

Ralph,

I would strongly reccomend the Lazor handaugers from Strikemaster, they have the Lazor shaving blades that cut much faster and easier then the standard single Mora style blades. Keep in mind that the smaller the auger blade size the easier and faster it will cut.

If you have the money.. Nils Master all the way.. once you learn how to work the handle, you will never go back to a regular handle!..
