TooBusy
I have the Lakemaster MMC chip that I use in my Lowrance 332c. Is it possible to access the info on the chip on my pc? If so, what hardware and or software is needed for me to do so?
0 Paul Waldowski
You would need a card reader and possibly MapCreate??? as the program. That would be the only program that I can think of that would have a chance of opening it...I would call Lakemaster, they are always very helpful (800) 540-5747(320) 632-6300 - Tolfree
0 PerchJerker
There's lots of rumors flying around that if you put a Navionics chip in a card reader it will erase the chip. Haven't heard that about the LakeMaster chip but I haven't tried it to find out. A related question, you should be allowed to make a backup copy of the LakeMaster chip in case something happens to it --- and the packaging says as much but isn't very specific. Has anyone made a backup copy or know how to do this?
