Thanks for the tease . I am waiting for mine and can't wait to give it a go. The reds looked kinda pinkish on the video , are they more red? I hope I like it over than my FL8slt, which has served me quite well, but I like new toys. Never used a zoom on a flasher before.

The reds are really red - just like the Vex.

Sent my Lx3 in for the 3 color update. The green color is the one thing that I did miss when going from the vexilar to marcum. For those that didn't know, marcum will update Old LX3's to true color for 49.00 They are saying 10 to 14 day turn around.

vex has green being the lowest signal color. On the Marcum the order goes red(strongest), green(mid-range), yellow(weakest).

This video doesn't do the LX-5 justice. (not knocking the work Troy did) You really just need to see it in action to understand how much better it is than the older LX-3's.

Like I said in my first post, its very hard to show how crisp the colors are over the web. As more people get them in their hands, be sure to take a look at one on the ice. You can then see for yourselves how much better these flashers are compared to everything else that is out there.
