Ice for Turkey Day?

Just wondering if there is any ice down around the Brookings/Volga/Arlington area. Thinking of bringing a couple rods and the hand auger with this weekend. Would be great to punch a few holes and land some eyes!

Anyone have anything to report?

it looks like the next 2 days are going to be warm(50 or so), and windy for sioux falls area, so cant be much different up that way. But come friday back down into the 20's. Turkey day maybe?...., so by Sat/Sun possible ice hopefully.

I will keep my fingers crossed. I got the itch really bad and mother nature has not been cooperating.

Lake Ponisett was all open on Monday 11-21-05. I doubt you will be ice fishing on turkey day. High of 54 tomorrow with 20 to 30 mph winds will open alot of lakes up.
