cliffy
I need some help.I attempted to remove the spark plug from my Strike Master Lazer Mag Express but I couldnt get it to move. I had the right tool and I gave it as much as I could without the fear of breaking something. Is there sometype of secret to how its suppose to be removed?I just wanted to check it to see if it was getting dirty. I have had my auger for three seasons and it still runs pretty good. It use to start on the first or second pull...but last season it was taking three or four pulls to get it running....just thought the plug might need changing. Thanks Cliffy. 18 inch Crappie
Nope, just in there kinda tight. If it runs good do not mess with it, if you brake it off then you are looking at $$. If some time you get by a shop have them look at it and pull it off. Or run your auger and let it heat up then try to remove it.

cliffy
I will give that a try.....on another note, has anyone ever tried putting Sea Foam in their ice auger....or is that a bad idea?
Augusta
I've been using sea foam in my Strikemaster for four years and still runs like a top. Just started it the other day for the first time of the season, took off on the second pull.
cliffy
Do you run Sea Foam in every tank full or just once a season? How often do you guys change the spark plugs? I am still very happy with my auger....for the first couple of seasons it would start on the first or second pull...and now its taking a few more. It was sorta a pain to get running for the first time last season and again yesterday. I had to give it about 20 pulls before she fired....then it ran great. If last year was any indication, it should only take 3-5 pulls to get it running each time I use it this season. I know that does not sound like much..but I really like it when it only took one pull to start....its not that its hard work....i just like it when everything works perfectly. Yes, I know...I will get over it.Also, How are you guys storing your auger at the end of the season? I just let mine run out of gas. Is that wrong or bad? Augusta
When I mix my gas and oil in the begining of the season, I put Sea Foam in with the gas/oil mix (I usually mix one gallon at a time). I hate to admit this, but at the end of the season, I just leave the old gas in the tank. When I started my auger up the other day, it was with last season's gas still in it....started on the second pull....been doing it this way for years...never a problem...yet that is
