LX-2 - A Potent Three Color Flasher Contender

While there's been a huge buzz lately about Marcum's new LX-5 and LX-3tc flasher units, if you're interested in a three color flasher but are on a tight budget, there's a few reasons to keep Marcum Technologies LX-2 in mind.

The LX-2 derived its model name from the "old" LX-3; since the LX-3 is now LX-3tc (true color). The LX-2 has all the features of any competing top-of-the-line three color flasher unit plus a bit more bang for the buck.

The LX-2 has the most power; which means more precise depth readings, signal display and the ability for quality depth readings through thicker ice.

The LX-2 has the bottom lock zoom with 5 or 10 foot windows.

The LX-2 is $80 less than that of a competing top-of-the-line three color flasher.

Some people just leave the little guys to the side but I think the LX-2 is a potent piece of flasher technology for some who want to save money for other equipment.

Great post Dave... For just an extra $20 over the Cabela's and Gander Mountain entries you can have even more zing for your dollar. Zoom choice 5' or 10' auto zoom with an additional 400 watts more power than Gander's or Cabela's entry. This unit at that price will create a following. Yet another homerun from MarCum!
