Anybody Duck hunting this weekend?

Hunting Deer next week so taking the son out for some duck hunting on Sat..hopefully won't be as many people out..now if we can only get the ducks to cooperate a little. Anybody else going out?

well that might not be a good thing because the ducks will not be moving around as much due to not as many people being out.

i duck hunt every deer opener. its the best time to be out there, nobody else's around. just remember that you have to wear orange when you're moving around anywhere but in your blind. once you're in the blind you can take it off. i'm pretty sure that a law but you should check for yourself anyway.

hey pete, i see you live in coon rapids. i'm in zimmerman and am probably going to hunt in dayton this weekend. you and your son want to join me and try to get some ducks and geese?

hunted Circle lake by faribo last night and got four drake mallards. Saw lots of flocks in the upper twenties heading into the refuge at dark. its always a great hunt when you can excape the crowds. gl

I'll be out there in full force both days...deer hunted last year and spent most of the time in my stand wishing I was in the duck blind scanning the skies. Got my priorities straight this year.

I'll be out with LBD (little black dog) in the morning. My son and I were out yesterday morning and saw quite a few mallards. Will go set up where they were diving in and hope for the best././Jimbo

no, i don't know any spots around zimmerman. the refuge is always there, but i hear its a busy place on the weekend. if you need, or want, some help, or company hunting around the zimmerman area let me know. i like hunting ducks, and helping others hunt them too.
