ifinder, mapcreate and navionics hotmaps

Anyone know how much detail Mapcreate for Lowrance Ifinder gps's has? Does it show lake structure or just borders? If one has mapcreate would one still need to navionics hotmaps to get detail for lakes like Rainy Lake in MN? Thanks!

If you are looking for structure maps, use the Navionics. They have a Minnesota/Iowa chip that has about 50 lakes or more. The Pro version is higher price, but offers high definition contour. If you want to download, make sure the software offers lake topo. Most of the road programs do not.
