ddsbyday
Whats up with the no blaze orange if hunting with non toxic shot. If I hunt grouse with steel shot( in sloughs where I may jump a duck or two)am I exempt from the blaze orange requirement(at great personal risk to myself)? Whats up with that? The language is specific. Who would do that, and why is it in there? Would a trigger happy bow hunter or gun hunter that shoots at movement instead of visible target feel worse if the victim was carrying toxic shot? I have not been able to figure this one out. There is stipulations for waterfowlers and turkey hunters so I do not understand why that sentence is in the regs.
