Hoghunter
I'm not sure if it is because all the outdoor folk are hunting right now but the last three weekends I have been fishing out at beaver lake just in some brushy coves and tearing the largemouth and whites up. I'm guessing its because no one is on the lake. heck it's even been pretty darn cold.
FOOT
Hog, what's your defination of "pretty darn cold".I use to live in Bentonville and when I go back to visit my aunt she has the heat running when it gets below 70.Now that I live in the far North we don't even turn our heat on until it's getting in to the 30's outside.Too bad I was pretty young when I lived in B-ville. I didn't get much chance to enjoy the Arkansas outdoors. My father, uncle and granddaddy use to take my brothers and I catfishing in some farm ponds but that's about it.I've been back a couple of times to hunt ducks and fish the White, enjoyed every minute of it. gunflint
Welcome Hoghunter, This is by far the best time of the year to catch big fish. I'd say more but I'm going fishing right now.
