Jiffy gearcase lube?

This weekend I got the Jiffy out and started her up getting ready for the winter and thought I'd check the gearcase lube. I couldn't find a filler plug, so how do you check the level and what type of lube should be used? If it matters it's an older model 30.

I believe the gear case doesn't contain any gear lube.
